PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is critically important to us.

Zady Millworks
It is Zady Millworks' policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. This Privacy Policy applies to our website (hereinafter, "us", "we", or "our website"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we may disclose it to third parties. It applies only to information collected through the Website and not to information collected from other sources.
This Privacy Policy, along with any applicable terms and conditions, governs your use of our Website.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you voluntarily give us through the "Contact Us" / consultation form, and information collected automatically by the analytics tools described below.
Contact form
When you submit our "Contact Us" / consultation form, we collect the first name, last name, phone number, and email address you enter. That submission is sent, server-side, to EmailJS (a third-party transactional email delivery service) using credentials that are never exposed in the website's code, and EmailJS relays it as an email to Zady Millworks' business inbox so our team can respond to your inquiry. We do not log or store your name, email address, or phone number on our own servers beyond what is needed to deliver that one email, and we never send this information to Google Analytics.
Analytics tools
Like most business websites, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website and to measure whether our marketing is generating inquiries. Google Analytics may automatically collect: pages viewed and on-site events (such as clicking a phone/email/WhatsApp link or submitting the contact form); a randomly-generated cookie or browser-storage identifier used to distinguish visits, not your name or identity; an approximate location derived from your IP address (typically city/region level, not a precise address); and general device/browser information such as browser type, operating system, screen size, and referring site. We send Google Analytics only each page's address without any query parameters or fragments, so information that can appear in a full URL (such as search terms or tracking codes) is not transmitted. This information is never combined with anything you enter into the contact form.
Why We Collect This Information
We use the personal information submitted through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry, provide customer support, or follow up regarding your interest in our services. We do not sell or rent it.
We use Google Analytics data to understand which pages and services visitors are interested in, improve the website, and measure how many visitors go on to contact us, so we can tell which marketing efforts (search, social media, referrals, and similar) are working.
Analytics Preferences
You can turn off Google Analytics measurement for this device at any time using the control below. This does not delete data already collected, and it never affects your ability to browse the site, view the gallery, or submit the "Contact Us" form.
When on, Google Analytics (see "Analytics Tools" below) may set cookies or similar identifiers on this device. Turning this off stops Google Analytics measurement from this device: from the moment you turn it off, no further measurements — with or without cookies — are sent, and on future visits the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all. Data collected while analytics was on is not deleted by this control. Your choice is saved on this device only and never affects the "Contact Us" form, which always works the same way either way.
Cookies and Storage
Google Analytics uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies to distinguish visits and measure site usage, as described above. Separately, this website stores your Analytics Preferences choice (granted or denied — nothing else) in your browser's local storage, on this device only, so it is remembered on your next visit. That stored choice never contains your name, email, phone number, or any message content. You may also set your browser to block cookies generally; this website will continue to work if you do.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are relayed to our inbox and kept as ordinary business email for as long as we need them to respond to and follow up on your inquiry; they are not retained in a separate marketing database. Google Analytics data is retained for the period configured in our analytics settings (currently 2 months for event data and 14 months for user data); see Google's Privacy Policy (linked below) for how Google handles that data.
Disclosure of Information
We disclose personal information only to the service providers described in this policy (EmailJS, to deliver contact form submissions to us, and Google, for Analytics measurement) and to employees or contractors who need it to respond to your inquiry. We may also disclose information when legally required, such as in response to a subpoena or court order, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Zady Millworks or others. We do not sell your personal information.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide through the Website, including sending contact form submissions over an encrypted connection and keeping the third-party credentials that deliver them private, server-side configuration rather than code shipped to your browser. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
External Links
Our website may contain links to external sites (including our social media profiles) not operated by us. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit, including Google's Privacy Policy, which covers Google Analytics.
Privacy Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the Website after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
