FORT LAUDERDALE KITCHEN & CABINETRY
White shaker cabinetry in a custom in-house lacquer, with integrated appliances and a matching laundry nook under a vaulted ceiling.
CUSTOM WHITE LACQUER CABINETRY THROUGHOUT THE KITCHEN
This Fort Lauderdale kitchen combines custom white shaker cabinetry with integrated appliances, a built-in pantry, and matching laundry storage. Zady Millworks developed a custom white lacquer finish in house specifically for this kitchen and built the shaker doors to a custom thickness.
The range wall centers on a stainless steel range beneath a painted hood with a pot filler. Wide drawer bases with polished pulls provide storage below a beveled white tile backsplash, while the cabinetry follows the lines of the vaulted ceiling and exposed beams.
Around the corner, an apron-front sink sits beneath a window, with a panel-front dishwasher and a built-in microwave drawer integrated into the cabinet run. Light stone-look countertops extend across the work surfaces, connecting the different sections of the kitchen.
At the far end, a paneled refrigerator and full-height pantry cabinet continue the white shaker cabinetry, keeping the appliance wall consistent with the rest of the room.
The adjacent laundry nook uses matching drawer bases, upper cabinets, and a countertop to accommodate a front-load washer and dryer, extending the same cabinetry finish into the utility area.
