Two-tone melamine kitchen with dark wood-grain base cabinets, cream uppers and hood, veined-stone slab counters and backsplash, and two islands

NORTH MIAMI BEACH RESIDENCE

A two-island kitchen combining dark wood-grain cabinetry, cream finishes, integrated appliances, and custom storage.

A KITCHEN BUILT AROUND CONTRAST

This North Miami Beach kitchen uses two contrasting melamine finishes to define the room. Dark wood-grain cabinetry grounds the base cabinets and islands, while cream upper cabinetry and a matching hood keep the upper portions of the space lighter.

Two islands organize the center of the kitchen, providing substantial drawer storage and integrating a microwave drawer. Brushed-gold bar pulls add a consistent detail across both finishes.

Along the appliance wall, floor-to-ceiling dark wood-grain cabinetry integrates a panel-front refrigerator and double wall ovens. A glass-front display cabinet and built-in desk nook extend the cabinetry beyond food preparation and create additional storage and workspace within the same kitchen.
