WALL PANELING AND DOORS DESIGNED AS ONE SYSTEM
This Sunny Isles Beach project combines custom wall paneling, vertical slat details, and flush interior doors in a coordinated light wood-grain finish. Zady Millworks fabricated the living room wall panels, the slatted hallway opening, and the entry doors, integrating each element into the surrounding architecture.
In the living room, vertical slats meet flat panels along a recessed ceiling cove. Concealed lighting follows the transition and illuminates the paneling, bringing the wall treatment and ceiling detail together.
The hallway opening continues the same finish, combining a slatted section with flat panels and a narrow illuminated reveal along the edge. These details define the passage while maintaining continuity between the living area and hallway.
In the entry vestibule, floor-to-ceiling wall paneling incorporates flush doors with black lever handles and a digital lock. A floating shelf and backlit round mirror complete the arrangement, with the doors aligned within the panel layout to maintain a consistent wall surface.
