NORTH MIAMI WHOLE-HOME RESIDENCE

CUSTOM MILLWORK THROUGH NEARLY EVERY ROOM

This North Miami residence represents a true whole-home millwork project. Zady Millworks fabricated cabinetry and architectural elements for nearly every part of the home, from the kitchen and pantry to the living spaces, bedrooms, closets, laundry, interior doors, ceiling details, and bathrooms.

The kitchen combines cream flat-panel cabinetry with taupe and white sections accented by gold-tone pulls. A separate walk-in pantry uses darker wood-grain cabinetry, glass-front uppers, open shelving, additional counter storage, and a beverage refrigerator. Wet bars are set into arched openings with taupe shaker cabinetry and glass shelving.

Wood-grain ceiling beams extend the millwork overhead, running parallel above the kitchen and converging toward the center in other rooms. In the main bedroom, wood-grain material continues across the ceiling itself.

The living room combines a paneled media wall, floating credenza, and arched display niches with integrated lighting and glass shelving. The home office takes a different direction with a dark green lacquered library wall, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, lower cabinetry, and cane-front details.

The laundry and mudroom introduce additional finishes and functions, with sage green cabinetry, hanging storage, benches, cubbies, and blue-gray shaker doors.

Closets and wardrobes appear throughout the home in several configurations, including a walk-in closet with a central island, illuminated shoe and handbag storage, hanging sections, and drawer storage. Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes use a combination of light wood-grain, taupe, and driftwood-tone finishes, with curved ends, distinctive pulls, arched details, and textured inserts.

Custom arched interior doors and matching casings extend the millwork into the circulation spaces, while floating and double bathroom vanities complete the project.
